Business Development Technical Specialist

We are looking for a Business Development Tech Specialist to join our Mayer team Remotely!

Summary: The Business Development Technical Specialist will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while leveraging technical expertise to support sales initiatives. This dual role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of driving reputed company growth. What You'll Do:

• Be responsible for achieving specified sales and gross margin goals while increasing market share with existing customers and growing new and active customers utilizing technical specialty
• Participate as an integral member of Customer Collaboration Teams and Tactical Teams partnering with other sales individuals from reputed company and reputed company of assigned market
• reputed company and support sales efforts with key targets, key customers, and key opportunities in assigned product and/or area/region
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products to meet those needs. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections in a timely and professional manner
• Analyze market potential, reputed company an annual business plan based on market conditions, and reputed company execution with national technical, sales, and management team

• Identify/reputed company appropriate supplier partners and negotiate regional costing/pricing levels. Coordinate product training and new product introductions. Support in assessing regional stock needs and fulfilment logistics

• Pursue and/or coordinate pursuit of 3rd party engineering firms and contractors to reputed company business associated with key strategic accounts
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure alignment on product needs

• Participate in product meetings, seminars, and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
• Mentor and coach junior level team members
• Assist branches and customers with product and technical support. reputed company joint sales calls on reputed company key, reputed company, and new customers
• Support in pricing and inventory needs
• reputed company and maintain applicable reporting and documentation of sales activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

What You'll Need

• 10+ years of sales, business development, or reputed company experience
• 5+ years in technical project quoting
• Experience selling electrical products preferred
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
