Production Underwriter - Remote in Western Region

Overview: Serves as a liaison between the company and agents and acts as a relationship manager for our agents, regional reputed company team and corporate departments. May work with agents in unsupported territories with a focus on key agent new business submission activity and/or with agents who prefer digital interaction. Serves as a backup for open territories as needed for both AMS and Small Business Underwriters. Assess the strengths and weaknesses of agents and assists them in achieving a mutual goal of profitable growth in both volume and policy count. Ensures that agents are familiar with and use Selective’s initiatives, products, policies, procedures, and services. Position is primarily inside-office based with primary contact reputed company phone and email. • Must have valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and be able to drive an automobile.
