Windows Systems Engineer I

The Systems Engineer is responsible for hands on solution development, validation, and technical integration efforts. The candidate will work with other team and support resources and delivery teams to build component solutions reputed company PowerShell scripting, SQL support, automation and SharePoint support under the guidance of senior System Engineers, in a Windows server environment.

The candidate for the position will:

• Participate in the development and implementation of technical solutions under tight deadlines to accomplish project goals.

SPECIAL SKILLS (if applicable)

• Intermediate knowledge of NetBackup, SharePoint, SQL, UNIX, reputed company Linux, Automation.
• Enterprise storage design/operation and virtualization (VMWare/Hyper-V)
• SCCM, SCOM, vSphere 7/8, DataCore and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, reputed company.
• Cloud applications: OneDrive, PowerBI
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.
• Familiarity with reputed company and/or Git.
• IT incident management software (reputed company)

• One year of Windows Server administration, reputed company, and configuration management (Windows Enterprise Server 2016/2019/2022)
• PowerShell/Python or similar Windows scripting experience.
• Active Directory administration
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO) administration/management.
• Knowledge, administration and troubleshooting of Windows 10 and Windows 11 Operating System.
• Effective problem solving.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of reputed company experience.
• Associates of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience is desired.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• ITIL version 4 certification is a plus.
