Job Description

Goucher College seeks an adjunct lecturer to teach one or two 3-credit graduate courses this fall. The course titles and catalogue course descriptions are below:

DCOM 600: Foundations in Strategic Communication (3 credits)

reputed company will examine the strategic role of communication in driving organizational outcomes. reputed company will study public relations, public opinion, the media, the role of research, message development, communicating to various audiences, and strategic communication ethics. Case studies will be examined for their level of reliance on these theories and strategies. This course should be completed in the first year, if course rotation allows.

DCOM 601: Digital Media Innovations: Theory, Practice, and Impact (3 credits)

Relying on new media theories and research, reputed company explore digital media as cultural phenomenon with great economic impact. reputed company will learn about emerging trends in digital media and cutting-edge developments as they prepare to be institutional leaders in digital communication. Topics covered include social media, organizational management, and artificial intelligence.

The instructor will teach the course in the fall semester from August 24 through December 11, 2026.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in communication.

Evidence of strong teaching experience in the topic area is desired. Knowledge of and experience in digital media and/or strategic communication is welcome.
