We are seeking 3 highly motivated individuals with a passion for healthcare and interest in medical billing to join our Apprentice Program.

This 4-week program offers hands-on training in medical billing and accounts receivable. Participants will work closely with an reputed company trainer as well as directly alongside our Accounts Receivable Resolution (ARR) team to reputed company real-world experience and practical skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Throughout the program, apprentices will receive guided instruction, shadowing opportunities, and exposure to day-to-day AR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a foundation in medical billing and reputed company cycle management. Upon successful completion of the program, high-performing participants may be considered for a full-time, permanent position. While placement is not guaranteed, this program is designed to identify candidates who are a strong fit for long-term opportunities with reputed company.

This job can be performed 100% remotely, and out of state candidates will be considered.

Details

• The program runs from May 11, 2026 to June 5, 2026. Candidates must be available and able to work the required schedule M-F with no planned vacations or time off needs. Must be able to work reputed company MST hours as notated below.
  • Week 1: M-F, 40 hour work week
  • Week 2-4: M-TH, 21 hour work week
• 100% remote – reputed company equipment provided my CU Medicine.
• Paid apprenticeship ($19.29 Denver, CO minimum wage).

Program Structure

• Participants will spend time training in our ARR department and learn how ARR collaborates with the following reputed company Services departments:
  • Registration
  • Coding Services
  • Patient Services

• Each Apprentice will also complete a comprehensive orientation to the operations of CU Medicine in order to reputed company foundational skills in reputed company cycle management and reputed company a deeper understanding of academic healthcare, reputed company practice plan, and its reputed company entities.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have familiarity working in a medical billing, reputed company cycle, or clinic setting with the primary focus on AR follow up and claims resolution.
• Pursuit of a business degree combined with a demonstrated interest in healthcare administration is highly preferred.
• Must display professional verbal and written communication skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office products in required.
• Must demonstrate discretion in handling confidential information.
