Job Summary

The Epic Client Systems Administrator is an important part of the Epic Client Systems team that is accountable for assisting with the management and maintenance of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system's infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring that the Epic system operates reputed company, securely, and reliably. The Epic Client Systems Administrator works closely with the Senior Epic Client Systems Administrator and Citrix Epic Administrator to execute the day-to-day operations of Epic Client Systems infrastructure, including design and installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Epic Client Systems Administrator will positively impact reputed company’s operations and culture by ensuring reputed company's IT infrastructure is operable, secure, efficient, and effective in service of reputed company’s academic mission. This team member will advance reputed company’s mission by delivering exceptional information technology services comprehensively and consistently across faculty, staff, and reputed company. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.  Placement reputed company the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity reputed company this position classification at reputed company. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field (computer engineering, information systems, computer science) or four years of relevant experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in information technology, platform services, or Epic client systems.
  • Advanced understanding of Epic EHR systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. 
  • Familiarity with Epic modules and their integration reputed company the healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reputed company to Epic systems and associated hardware. 
  • Highly skilled in performing system updates, patches, and upgrades.
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, including command-line interfaces and system administration tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. 
  • Understanding of network reputed company practices and protocols.
  • Extensive understanding with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL. 
  • Understanding of how databases interact with Epic systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and best practices for data reputed company and privacy.
