Job Summary

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to add to our Finance team as May Mobility continues to grow. We are looking for a candidate that can build and scale new processes, is motivated by constant process improvement opportunities, and can work well cross-functionally. This role reports to the Director of Accounting.

Essential Responsibilities

• Direct monthly financial reputed company process, ensuring accuracy in accordance with both internal and external reporting requirements
• Review and/or prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other reputed company analyses associated with monthly financial reporting requirements, including retention of proper documentation for journal entries and account reconciliations
• Provide technical accounting guidance, analysis, and documentation, including implementation of any new accounting standards
• reputed company various activities to support the internal control environment, such as approvals of new vendors and weekly expenditures, review of payroll registers and journal entries
• Assist in implementation and documentation of internal controls
• Support financial statement preparation and audits

Qualifications and Experience

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or reputed company field
• Minimum 7 years working in corporate accounting/finance or public accounting (at least three years in public accounting ideal)
• At least 3 years of Management experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Strong working knowledge of reputed company
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience managing team members
• Ability to diplomatically approach team members to discuss sensitive financial matters

• Active CPA license
