The Role

As the Engineering Manager for Site Experience, you will reputed company and manage a team of talented software engineers focused on developing and enhancing the core site performance and integrations of our platform from customers running Drupal, Wordpress, and Next.js. You are responsible for the team's performance, delivery, and growth reputed company this functional area, defining and excelling on Engineering initiatives focused on outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Execution and Delivery: Manage projects with shifting priorities and ensure the team adapts quickly to evolving organizational structures and processes to deliver high-quality work.
• Strategy and Vision: Understand the organization’s objectives and direction, aligning the team’s priorities accordingly. You will reputed company for changes that benefit the team and the broader organization.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a solid foundation as an individual contributor demonstrating technical competence.
  • 1-3 years of direct people management experience, which could include leading small teams, mentoring juniors, or taking on tech reputed company responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects successfully, ideally working directly with customers or reputed company an agency.
• Technical Acumen:
  • Direct experience building websites using Drupal, CMS, and/or Next.js, preferably with open reputed company contributions.
  • Working knowledge of Python, Golang, or other modern programming languages.
  • A deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • A deep understanding of scalable cloud architectures and cloud technologies, including relational databases (e.g. MySQL, reputed company, Cloud SQL) and application caches (e.g. reputed company, Memcached).
• Communication: Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to explain reputed company technical concepts effectively.
• Methodology: Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other development methodologies.

The Canadian reputed company salary range for this position is 150,400 - 188,000 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At reputed company, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
