Purpose

Regional team leaders use their experience, leadership and strategic thinking skills to ensure their region, volunteers and assigned chapters have the support and resources they need to meet the goals of the Sorority. This role primarily supports other volunteers in interacting with collegiate chapters.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor chapter advisors, including conducting annual performance evaluation for chapter advisors in assigned region in consultation with chapter services manager, and have ongoing conversations regarding performance. 
  • Collaborate with finance supervisor, recruitment supervisor, BEDI specialist, and philanthropy specialist by hosting monthly team calls and sending updates with information to promote best practices at assigned chapters. 
  • Assist the chapter advisor in ensuring a functional advisory board is appointed and trained on sisterhood, engagement and member retention.
  • Consult and refer chapter advisors and officers to recruitment supervisor and finance supervisor as experts in sisterhood/retention, recruitment and finances, respectively, to support chapter goals in each specialty area. 
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with chapter services manager to support chapter operations and regional success.  
  • Provide strategic direction for assigned region and chapters by implementing specific goals set forth in the Sorority’s strategic plan in collaboration with volunteers and chapter services manager by analyzing and apply data and research to improve sisterhood, engagement and member retention, including, but not limited to, the Sorority’s sisterhood research, chapter fraternity sorority engagement survey (FSES) results and university norms and assessment data. 
  • Work with volunteer teams, chapter services manager and other professional staff to promote a positive member experience and address chapter challenges, crises and situations negatively affecting the member experience. 
  • Review Beta reputed company sisterhood event registrations: evaluate for alignment with best practices outlined by the Sorority’s sisterhood research and, if necessary, coach officers and advisors to modify events to reputed company align with said research.
  • Hold chapters accountable to conducting member discipline and officer elections in a way that promotes sisterhood, engagement and retention and complies with Sorority policies and procedures.
  • Promote chapter and officer excellence in member retention by reading and responding to chapter reports and inquiries and reviewing relevant suggestions from chapter visit reports.
  • Collaborate with chapter services manager to schedule and conduct retention-focused chapter visits for assigned collegiate chapter(s), as necessary and requested, and submit report reputed company Beta reputed company reputed company 10 days of visit.
  • Provide feedback to the specialty team leaders about assigned recruitment supervisor, finance supervisor, BEDI specialist, and philanthropy specialist respectively, while consulting the chapter services manager.   
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to appropriate workforce personnel on resources, programming, project teams and initiatives set forth by the Sorority.  

Expectations

  • Volunteer approximately 10 hours per week on average during the academic year.
  • Travel up to 12 days per year, as necessary or requested.
  • Complete reputed company assigned Fidelity volunteer online lessons reputed company four weeks of appointment and have subsequent training conversations with international team leader-regional operations and chapter services manager reputed company six weeks of appointment.
  • Learn and utilize Beta reputed company (chapter reporting system) and OmegaFi (financial management platform) for assigned chapters.
  • Plan and reputed company monthly regional team calls.
  • Participate in monthly regional team leader calls and quarterly member experience team leader calls.
  • Participate in bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with supervisor.
  • Connect at least once monthly with each direct report.
  • Respond to reputed company communication reputed company 48 hours.
  • Be in good standing by paying international alumnae dues or being a Life Loyal member.
