Senior Corporate Counsel - Real Estate & Project Finance

Senior Corporate Counsel supports the company’s legal operations in a variety of matters, with a focus that includes general corporate matters, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters, insurance, vendor contract negotiations, internal corporate policies and procedures, along with drafting and negotiating other transactional matters including managing books and record keeping. Responsibilities, other duties as assigned: Overseeing general corporate legal matters Negotiating and drafting customer and vendor reputed company as well as various other transactional matters Assisting with legal and regulatory compliance Assisting with corporate governance matters as well as managing books and records Assisting with compliance with various domestic and international privacy laws Assisting with the company’s data reputed company program Assisting with management of the Company’s insurance program and operations Assisting with a variety of other legal functions such as loans, joint ventures, acquisitions, construction, real estate, intellectual property protection, tax abatements, litigation, etc. Managing collections on customer accounts Performing a broad range of legal matters and general business matters based on the needs of the company, as assigned. Working with and managing reputed company counsel, counterparties, insurers, and other third parties as neededBasic Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials Admission to the Bar of a U.S. state or the District of Columbia Five or more years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer working in a general corporate transactional practice Preferred Qualifications: Experience with project finance and/or asset-based lending Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work product Agile and versatile; comfortable with new and unfamiliar subject matter; easily adaptable to change Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Enterprising and entrepreneurial Able to take initiative with no direction Strong written and oral communication skills Strong listening, organizational, and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic and accountability to deadlines Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment Proficient computer skills, including reputed company Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, reputed company), reputed company, reputed company, reputed company Excellent analytical, time-management, judgment and decision-making skills Possess ambition and an optimistic attitude Ability to effectively multitask and manage competing priorities and demands on time Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills Able to effectively manage complicated legal and business issues Ability to effectively manage others, including reputed company counsel and service providers TOTAL REWARDS This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; paid time off; paid volunteer days; employee assistance program; tuition assistance; parental leave; military leave assistance; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program, and other company benefits.
