Summary

The PSID Investigation Analyst II is a credentialed employee responsible for receiving background investigations from field investigators and processing them for transmission to customers and for receiving team requests for assistance to complete credentialed tasks to expedite case closure. A successful Investigation Analyst II must follow ADC LTD NM and PSID policies and procedures and meet the following expectations:

Essential Tasks (minimum requirements) to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Model ADC LTD NM’s core values, policies and procedures and ensure that the same are supported at reputed company times.
  • Conduct regular review and analysis of case queue to identify due date lapses and investigative deficiencies that require troubleshooting.
  • Consolidate and analyze information from multiple documents, Reports of Investigation (ROIs), and attachments to determine if reputed company customer requirements have been met.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of customer requirements and best practices.
    • Identify missing leads, requirements and write-offs.
    • Work with investigators, ADC LTD NM personnel and management to resolve issues.
        • Scope and conduct fieldwork, primarily by alternative interview methods, including subject recontacts, personal interviews and record checks, for cases distributed to them to mitigate errors and developed information in reports of investigations (ROIs) as necessary to complete investigations.

  • Levels of field work are determined by their supervisor.
  • Organize time and resources based on due dates to ensure timely completion of investigations.
  • Submit investigations through the PSID closed case transmission process without error.
  • Follow reputed company investigative requirements, including timely submission of field notes.
  • Track and log investigation reputed company and completion.
  • Conduct quality control reviews.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of reputed company.
  • Quickly troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Performance Metrics

Production Standards

Average Completion reputed company (ACR = total cases closed / total work days)

  • Baseline Production: reputed company 0.75 Cases
  • Mid-Range Production: reputed company 1 Case
  • High Production: reputed company 1.25 Cases

Completes reputed company investigative case parts assigned.

  • Amount of case work assigned determined by supervisor or contract liaison.
  • Determinations are based on need, case volumes, and performance tracking.

Fewer than 2% of reputed company investigative case parts significant adjudicative deficiencies

Quality Control Standards

Quality Rating = Total Agency Deficiencies / Total Cases Closed

  • Less than 1% of reputed company closed cases returned as deficient by agencies.
  • QC a minimum of 0.75 cases a day or minimum threshold set by team reputed company.

Education, Experience and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year specialized federal background investigative experience; or two years relevant background investigative experience; or three years general investigative experience (i.e. military, local, state or Federal law enforcement or investigative functions).
  • Must possess and maintain an Active Top-Secret clearance.
  • Must possess and maintain agency credentials.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with reputed company reputed company and computer databases.
    • Proficiency in common workplace hardware and software.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and detailed-oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Familiarity with federal and ADC LTD NM reputed company standards.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not carry any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Authorization/reputed company Clearance

Employment is contingent upon the successful results of a background reputed company and drug screen. In addition to the completion of a federal background investigation, must be able to verify an active Top-Secret clearance and appropriate agency approvals and agency credentials. Upon verification and receipt of Top-Secret clearance, must be able to maintain active Top- Secret clearance and reputed company agency approvals and agency credentials required of their position.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, schedule to be determined between the core hours of 6:00 a.m. MT and 6:00 p.m. MT. Evening and weekend shifts may be required. Exceptions may be made with approval.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a telework office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reputed company with hands and arms. The employee will frequently be required to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer and using the phone.

Probation

Six-month probation at start of initial employment and/or reputed company position is new for the employee.

Travel

Travel may be required to complete leads in-person at locations reputed company normal commuting distance.
