This role is a full-time, 3-6+ month consultant contract.

The Role

As a Senior Engineer, Load Interconnection at reputed company, you will play a critical role in expanding our energy infrastructure and integrating our large-load facilities into the electric grid. You will be a key individual contributor, focusing on the reputed company challenges of connecting and optimizing our operations reputed company the MISO and PJM grid. This position requires deep technical expertise in power systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a rapidly evolving industry.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Performing and supporting grid integration studies for large-load facilities.

• Managing transmission injection Performing load deliverability studies.

• Strategize POI’s based on business needs and changing regulatory requirements

• Contributing to the technical development of new hires, sharing knowledge and best practices in grid integration.

• Working with internal teams to understand project needs, drafting technical specifications, and supporting the business development team on the technical aspects of proposals reputed company to grid integration.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Master's degree in Power Systems with 3+ years of experience in power system or bachelor’s and 5+ years of experience in planning, system modeling, and grid code compliance studies.

• Strong working knowledge of MISO/PJM

  • Transmission Topology

  • Load interconnection methodologies

  • Identification of POI’s that best suit our needs for business development

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report writing skills.

• Ability to strategize think out of the reputed company

Bonus Points

• Experience with other ISO/RTO markets (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, WECC, SERC).

• Working knowledge of PowerWorld Simulator, ETAP, TSAT, and ASPEN OneLiner.

• Working knowledge or prior experience with scripting languages such as R or Python

Compensation

Compensation will be paid in the range of $100-$150/hour + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in reputed company offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
