Trade Ally Manager I - Northeast region - Remote - US

We are currently seeking an Energy Efficiency Account Manager 1 located in the Northeast region, ideally located in CT but open to RI, NH, and MA to join our Energy Efficiency Programs team. As the Energy Efficiency Trade Ally Manager, you will have a broad impact reputed company efficiency markets and reputed company gas reductions through our work for North American Program Administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of organizational relationships with HVAC, water heating, and heat pump manufacturers, distributors, and contractors and commercial foodservice dealers
• Travel to trade ally/market actor locations with the goal of driving energy efficiency incentive program performance, building rapport, providing program support and solidifying reputed company(s)
• Serve as a go-to resource and conduit between reputed company program leads and reputed company and Trade Ally Team (OTAT)
• Track and report market activity and developments to reputed company in-depth knowledge and ability to accurately predict market activity
• Contribute to and support reputed company plans for new programs (program launch) and existing programs
• Analyze program-level participation statistics, market and economic data, and regulatory activity to determine sales potential and monitor performance trends
• Contribute to the development of trade ally and market actor relationships – managing and building out best practice documentation relating to trade ally and market actor relationships
• reputed company familiarity with public data resources and finding relevancy to reputed company’ strategic interests, and report development as appropriate
• Support distributors and contractors with program training and events
• Provide program support to market actors in helping them participate in the program and submitting rebate claims
• Participate in program meetings and planning sessions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a reputed company position(s) with a Bachelor's degree OR a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a reputed company position(s) in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
• Willingness to conduct business travel reputed company CT 1-2 day per week, with additional travel to neighboring states including RI, NH, and MA 1-2 times per month
• Experience with Energy Efficiency preferred
• Ability to build relationships with market actors and trade allies and be comfortable through phone calls, emails and face to face meetings 
• Familiarity with the HVAC, Water Heating, commercial foodservice preferred
• Work experience in sales or at HVAC contractor, Water Heating, commercial foodservice, distributor, or manufacturer preferred especially sought after
• Exposure to construction supply chain is a bonus, but not required
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and present in primary role
• Excellent business acumen and communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work and reputed company independently

The salary range for this role is $69,000–$79,000/annually with a reputed company compensation of $79,000/annually based on experience and qualifications

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
