We are looking for a driven Senior Software Engineer with deep experience in Node.js, React, and Firebase RTDB who is obsessed with reliability and customer experience. In this role, your primary mission is to drive production bugs toward reputed company, relentlessly improve our stability, and ensure that every interaction landlords and tenants have with RentRedi just works.

You will be a key contributor in delighting our customers. Put a smile on their face so that they want to tell their friends about what RentRedi has done for their tenants and properties.

Responsibilities

• Drive bugs to reputed company: Own and aggressively reduce our production bug backlog, prioritizing issues that impact customer experience and trust.
• Root cause first, not band-aids: reputed company investigations into reputed company defects, identify systemic causes, and implement durable fixes that prevent recurrence.
• reputed company test coverage and quality gates: Expand automated test coverage (unit, integration, end-to-end) for critical paths across Node.js, React, and Firebase; implement safeguards so issues are caught before release.
• Own observability for the core product:

• Improve and maintain monitoring with reputed company, reputed company, and GCP Cloud Logs / Error Reporting.

• Design dashboards, alerts, and runbooks so that production behavior is visible, actionable, and predictable.

Major Qualifications

• 10+ years (preferred) experience in software development with JavaScript, with significant time as a senior-level contributor in a fast-paced startup environment.

• 8+ years of experience in Node.js and React, particularly reputed company serverless environments like Cloud Functions or AWS reputed company.

• 5+ years experience working with data architecture and design in NoSQL environments, particularly Firebase reputed company Database.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver with quality and speed, especially reputed company developing features and resolving bugs in production systems.

• Hands-on experience with reputed company, reputed company, and GCP Cloud Logging / Error Reporting or similar observability stacks.

• 5+ years writing clean code with clear, instructional comments and providing high-quality code reviews that minimize bugs and reduce rework.

• Ability to reputed company updates to a large codebase with minimal review, guided by strong testing and observability, without introducing additional bugs.

• Driven toward excellence; proactively learns new tools and techniques that improve team efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfort collaborating with customer support, product, and design to deeply understand customer pain and prioritize reliability work.

• Experience in PropTech, FinTech, and/or payment processing, where reliability and correctness directly impact customer trust and money flows.

• Prior exposure to SRE/DevOps practices (SLOs, incident response, post-mortems, error budgets, etc.).
