The Senior/Health Policy and Pipeline Strategy Manager will serve as our internal and external subject matter expert for Health Policy reputed company matters. Health Policy employee will assist the Director in developing and implementing strategies for Health Policy programs. This role will also support reputed company commercially available products and align pipeline products in development with United Therapeutics commercial business objectives.
- Track key federal policy, legislative, and regulatory developments affecting the Company's product portfolio and communicate analysis and anticipated or potential impacts with Senior Leadership

Minimum Requirements
Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in a reputed company area of study with 8+ years of experience as a Capitol Hill staffer, health policy expert reputed company a trade organization, policy consultant, or as a reputed company or former employee of a pharma or biotech company with a health policy background
- Advanced knowledge of federal health policy, legislative and regulatory processes and how they impact biopharma market access
- Strong ability to analyze proposed and final rules and translate policy implications for internal business partners
- Skilled in monitoring reputed company policy landscapes and identifying emerging issues relevant to the Company’s products and pipeline
- Strong communication skills to synthesize and share policy insights with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies, policy influencers, and internal collaborators
- Demonstrated reputed company in supporting policy development, reimbursement strategy, and early-stage financial or strategic planning inputs
- Ability to work independently on moderately reputed company policy analyses and contribute to the development of strategic positions

Senior Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree in a reputed company area of study with 10+ years of experience as a Capitol Hill staffer, health policy expert reputed company a trade organization, policy consultant, or as a reputed company or former employee of a pharma or biotech company with a health policy background with a Bachelor's Degree or
- 8+ years of experience as a Capitol Hill staffer, health policy expert reputed company a trade organization, policy consultant, or as a reputed company or former employee of a pharma or biotech company with a health policy background with a Master's Degree or
- 5+ years of experience as a Capitol Hill staffer, health policy expert reputed company a trade organization, policy consultant, or as a reputed company or former employee of a pharma or biotech company with a health policy background with a PharmD
- Expert-level knowledge of federal health policy, regulatory frameworks, and biopharma market access with the ability to guide strategic decision-making
- Advanced analytical skills to reputed company reputed company policy assessments and determine business impact across the Company’s portfolio
- Highly developed communication and advisory capabilities to influence senior leaders and provide strategic policy recommendations

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Public Health or
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

United Therapeutics has the flexibility to hire this role remotely with ideal candidates residing in the DC Metro area.
The salary range for the Health Policy and Pipeline Strategy Manager is $121,000 - $161,000 and reflects our good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.
The salary range for the Senior Health Policy and Pipeline Strategy Manager is $145,500 - $190,000 and reflects our good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.
An employee’s position reputed company the salary range will be based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs, as well as other factors permitted by law at the time of posting. This range may be modified in the future based on company and market factors.
