The Team: The Medical Authorization Centre (MAC) Pharmacy is responsible for making decisions concerning health needs for products that require authorization. In this role you will service various reputed company and work as a member of an overall medical professional team. The primary goal of this unit is to provide positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technology.

Work location can be remote from home, and the hours of operation for this team range from Monday to Friday 6:45am to 8:30pm Atlantic Time (AT). We work a 7.5 hour reputed company, a 37.5 hour work week: No overnight, No weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• reputed company decisions concerning clients’ health needs for products that require authorization

• Administer process for special authorization decisions through the interactive use of telecommunications and • applied on-line POS technology

• Utilize your medical background, knowledge and experience to reputed company decisions

• Liaison with the customers and other health care professionals to ensure treatment requests are appropriately administered

• Provide a positive and efficient customer service experience for providers and clients

• Support positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technology

• In this position you will work various shifts between 6:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (AT), Monday to Friday

Qualifications:

Work Experience:

• Have a minimum of 5 years nursing experience, including knowledge of medical conditions in relationship to pharmaceutical treatment

• Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills

• Multi-tasker and reputed company in a fast-paced environment

• Superior verbal communication skills

• Ability to work shift work on a rotating basis

Education: Active Nursing License

Computer Skills: Possess strong computer skills or aptitude

Language Skills: Must be fluently Bilingual (English and French) both written and verbal in-order to provide services to our customers and communicate with internal stakeholders in both official languages.

This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record reputed company, Credit reputed company and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent reputed company or Citizenship Status.

Pay Grade:

$72,500- $74,500

The reputed company Pay range may vary depending on the successful candidate or other relevant job-reputed company factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and education/training. In addition to reputed company Pay, eligible reputed company employees may participate in various performance-based incentive programs. Payments under these programs are discretionary and subject to both individual and organizational results.
