Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a talented, eager, and skilled Director, Business Development to join reputed company in a fully remote position. As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for securing & retaining business for Scout Meetings by conducting professional, consultative, and proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision-influencers at existing and new clinical Sponsors and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs).
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Develops sales opportunities for Scout Meetings by researching and identifying potential accounts and soliciting new accounts.
- Deliver measurable results by engaging new clients or contacts, securing client meetings.
- Generates reputed company by soliciting and obtaining budget requests.
- Track and maintain accounts, calls, and client follow-up activity in the customer relationship management (reputed company) database.
- Contribute strategically and tactically to the reputed company team
- Be a collaborative team player
- Contribute proactively in any team-building activities

- BA/BS degree (postgraduate degree preferred) or equivalent experience required
- 4+ years of previous industry experience (selling to Pharma, Biotech and/or Clinical Research required)
- 4+ years of experience in successfully working in sales and marketing teams
