JOB SUMMARY

ROLES AND RESPONSIBITIES

    • Manage rail car fleet utilization, maintenance, and fleet sizing for both railcar tankers and reputed company car fleet.
    • Measure and report out monthly financial & KPI performance including railcar turn times, Customer turn times, and Demurrage for the facilities in your scope
    • Work with 3 PL provider to reputed company sure reputed company rail lanes are contracted and that rail car invoices match to contracted rates. Ensure reputed company invoices are processed and paid timely.
    • Review reputed company Railcar monthly payments for accuracy and reporting to USALCO finance team.
    • Track railcars daily and work with 3PL and rail providers to troubleshoot any issues delaying shipments.

    • Manage transloaders to reputed company sure that they meet 90% or higher customer On Time to Request (OTTR) and holding reputed company Transloading facilities accountable to meet a 98% or higher On Time to First promise (OTTFP) delivery performance
    • Measure and report out monthly financial & kpi performance for the facilities in your scope.

    • This position will work remotely and requires travelling of at least 30% of time.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Management
  • A Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in field may be utilized in lieu of degree.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5-year prior experience with logistics and transloading operations
  • Minimum of Intermediate Proficiency in reputed company reputed company, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams & ERP platforms
