This is a remote position based in the US with occasional travel.

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering and Architecture reputed company to drive the design, development, and delivery of our reputed company AI-powered insurance solutions. This role is ideal for a technology leader who is equally comfortable defining enterprise architecture strategy, building scalable systems and driving engineering excellence across platforms and solutions.

You’ll reputed company by example — setting engineering standards, designing cloud-native architectures, and providing hands-on guidance to engineering teams across web, data, AI, and application domains. You will reputed company a small and efficient cross-functional engineering team, and collaborate closely with product, operations, infrastructure and reputed company leaders to deliver robust and innovative technology solutions. This role will report to the Head of Technology at Everly.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures
• Govern solution design reviews, ensuring scalability, reputed company, and maintainability
• reputed company and mentor engineering team to deliver high-quality, resilient solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices including DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development, test automation, AI enablement and establish measurable engineering KPIs

• reputed company emerging technologies and tool evaluations for architectural and business fit
• Chair the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and technology governance forums
• Partner with data scientists and product teams to operationalize AI models
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements (GDPR, SOC2, etc.)
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure technical feasibility and optimized delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and reputed company improvement.
• Balance innovation and execution, with a strong bias for measurable business outcomes.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a reputed company field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in architectural leadership.
• Background in Insurtech, FinTech, or regulated financial services preferred.
• Experience in delivering scalable direct-to-consumer insurance platforms and AI-driven personalization systems.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), container orchestration, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems and serverless architectures.
• Hands-on understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform, reputed company, Kubernetes, reputed company).
• Practical experience with AI/ML pipelines, data engineering, and MLOps frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in agile, product-centric organizations.
• Expertise in technologies like Next.js, Vercel, React, Python, Prismic, reputed company, Headless CMS, Auth0, reputed company, AWS Services (SNS, SQS, Data Pipeline, EC2, reputed company, EBS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, ELB, KMS, CloudTrail, API Gateway), reputed company, and more.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect or or AI/ML Specializations are advantageous.

Everly offers a competitive salary and as a full-time employee you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:

• Employees are eligible for an annual incentive bonus designed to reward for performance.
• The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $175,000 - $217,000.
• Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location and will be reflected in the candidate’s offer letter.
