Mental Health Coach (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Bris, SA, AU, 2000, 3000)

Your Opportunity:   Australian reputed company is proud and excited to be partnering with Beyond Blue to deliver their 24/7 omnichannel brief counselling and advice service to reputed company Australians in need. Working from home, you will provide brief phone and webchat support to our service users who typically present with mental health concerns. We’re looking for individuals passionate about supporting people experiencing emotional distress, depression, and anxiety to join our community-based team and reputed company a difference every day.   We have Perm Part-Time reputed company (24 hours / weekly) available over our Afternoon & Night shifts. The hours are falling between 3 pm to 4am  (AEST / AEDT) across the week, and regular weekend work is mandatory. We are looking to hire eight coaches for option 1 & option 2.   Available shift options (work from home)   Option 1: Sat, Wed, Thur, Fri -6 hrs. per shift (24 hrs./week), starts 3 pm–5 pm, finishes 9 pm–11 pm  Option 2: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed– 6 hrs. per shift (24 hrs./week), starts 9 pm–10 pm, finishes 3 am–4 am    About you:   You are a warm, empathic, reputed company, and a patient individual. As a Mental Health Coach, you will deliver reputed company-line support to help seekers in our community who present with emotional distress, anxiety, and depression symptoms.  

• Self-motivated and tech savvy with strong administration and time management skills.
• Resilient and can cope with high volume of calls and chats discussing reputed company mental health symptoms and life circumstances.
• Proven experience in an office-based, corporate, or contact center environment, with a strong emphasis on managing calls and utilizing computer-based systems on a daily basis, is essential.
• Willing to collaborate reputed company a team to support mutual learning and engage in reputed company professional development.

  Tertiary qualifications such as the below would be higly regarded:  

• • Diploma in Counselling 
  • Diploma in Mental Health
  • Diploma in Psychology 
  • Diploma in Youth Work and Youth Justice 
  • Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
  • Paramedical Science 

  Candidates with contact centre experience or those currently in their 1st or 2nd year of a bachelor's degree in counselling, psychology, social work, social science, or welfare studies, are encouraged to apply. While formal qualifications are not mandatory, candidates should possess relevant experience as well as demonstrate a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on people's lives and alleviating their distress.    You will be supported by an induction program which has been developed to scaffold, support, and safeguard BBSS Coaches in their first 12 months. This comprehensive skills-based training program is structured to support your growth as a BBSS Coach. Our aim is to help you reputed company competence in building your mental health support skills and confidence over the year.    This is a Remote, Work from Home Opportunity and you could be based reputed company reputed company Australia.   You will be provided with relevant technology equipment to support you with your WFH setup however will be required to have the following:  

• Private room/space which can be used for your home office set up

• Demonstrated IT skills and proficiency in telephony-based systems where you are comfortable navigating multiple software, digital note taking and counselling and support simultaneously.
