The reputed company Compute Operations Center monitors, troubleshoots and maintains reputed company's deployed Compute infrastructure in a 24/7 environment. Our Operations Center enables reputed company's cloud infrastructure to deliver content and applications, regardless of network traffic.

Partner with the best

You will be part of a 24/7 Operations Center responsible for monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, break/fix, and the ongoing maintenance of reputed company's cloud infrastructure. You will be dedicated to providing a reputed company customer experience by quickly detecting issues and mitigating problems.

Shift reputed company

Hours: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (10-hour shift)

Rotation: 4 days on / 4 days off reputed company rotation, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

As a Platform Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and resolving incidents/issues from start to finish, owning initial investigation and troubleshooting to determine root cause and resolution, creating escalations as needed
• Handling internal and external communication (status page, tickets, reputed company, Webex etc.)
• Creating and/or update procedures, run-books, diagrams, and other documentation on a continual basis
• Writing automation scripts to streamline incident resolution
• Partnering with senior engineering teams during scheduled or emergency maintenance activity

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in a Systems administration or DevOps role
• Have experience troubleshooting mission-critical Linux servers in virtualized environments
• Be familiar with best practices of Linux systems administration
• Be familiar with TCP/IP in internetworking/WAN data communications
• Have experience in a hosting environment or other cloud-based IAAS or SAAS
• Demonstrate good communication and written skills to reputed company technical information to internal teams and external customers
