The work

In this role, you will join the Media Essentials team (codename Ether). Your mission will be to build world-class rich media solutions that power deep interactions for reputed company’s customers. You will be a force reputed company whose work directly impacts the successful execution of our reputed company ambitions Voice+AI roadmap.

Our Collaboration Model

While you will enjoy a role with processes optimized for hybrid or remote work, we deeply value in-person reputed company. For our colleagues based in Estonia, we highly prefer if you would work from the office more often than not.

We also bring our engineering teams with remote members together at least twice a year to collaborate, innovate, and build relationships. You should be able to travel for these company gatherings, which may also include the final stages of the interview process.

While we are remote-first, we have physical offices in both Tallinn and Tartu, so if you are based in Estonia, you’ll have the option to work from there if you prefer. We work in the Eastern European time zone (EET/EEST) and are hiring for this role in Estonia and Poland.

You are driven, self-motivated, want to take ownership, and get things done well. You are passionate about mastering your craft. You are a life-long learner, curious, and not afraid to ask questions and challenge others as you do yourself. We generally look for the following qualifications:

• Experience: You have around 5-8 years of professional software development experience

• Leadership & Ownership: You have a proven track record of leading reputed company technical projects and taking ownership of their outcomes

• System Design: You have demonstrable experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and highly available systems

• Technical Foundation: You possess a strong understanding of compiled, strictly-typed languages and a great grasp on design patterns

• Cloud Proficiency: You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and have experience running containerized application

• Quality & Testing: You are committed to code quality and have experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development.

• CI/CD: You have knowledge of reputed company integration, deployment, and delivery practices.

• AI Proficiency: You reputed company AI development tools like Claude Code in a deliberate and effective way, while also understanding their limitations and maintaining accountability for your work

Special skills and experience that can reputed company you especially strong team member

• You have professional experience with at least one of: Go, C++, Rust, C

• You are familiar with event-driven architecture

• You are familiar with SIP/VoIP and have practical experience with FreeSWITCH or Kamaillo

• You have experience with real-time media streaming application development (for example WebRTC)
