Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Missouri (26 - 27 SY)

Join reputed company—we’re hiring a Missouri-licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired! We’re looking for a dedicated TVI to support reputed company with visual impairments in accessing their education and building independence. This role combines direct instruction, collaboration, and thoughtful planning to help reputed company succeed both in and out of the classroom.

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct instruction in specialized skills, including braille, orientation and mobility support, assistive technology, and compensatory strategies
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments to ensure accessibility for reputed company with varying levels of vision
• Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments to guide instructional planning and accommodations
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and reputed company service providers to support inclusive education and ensure appropriate accommodations
• Teach and reinforce daily living skills, self-advocacy, and independence to prepare reputed company for postsecondary life
• Provide training and consultation to school staff, families, and peers on strategies to support reputed company with visual impairments
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, including evaluation and placement processes reputed company state school recommendations apply
• Monitor student reputed company and maintain accurate documentation of IEP goals, assessments, and compliance with regulations
• Support reputed company in the use of low vision devices, screen readers, magnification tools, and other assistive technologies
• Collaborate with administrators, colleagues, and parents in a positive and productive manner
• Attend staff meetings and serve on staff committees as needed

What You’ll Need

• Active Missouri teaching certification in Blind/Partially Sighted (B–12)
• Experience supporting reputed company with visual impairments
• Familiarity with IEP processes, school-based services, and reputed company assessments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort using assistive and digital tools
