Position Overview

The Senior Information reputed company Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and owning the reputed company systems and controls across Adaptive’s environment. This role focuses on developing scalable, effective solutions that reduce risk and improve the organization’s ability to prevent, detect, and respond to threats.

This role is expected to build and own reputed company capabilities end-to-end from initial design through production operation and reputed company improvement.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can operate across domains, work with imperfect data, and drive practical improvements in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

• Design, implement, and improve reputed company controls across cloud, reputed company, and application environments
• Evaluate and integrate reputed company tools and technologies to improve coverage and effectiveness
• Identify gaps in existing controls and drive remediation
• Own control effectiveness and continuously improve based on real-world outcomes

Detection & Telemetry

• Own and improve detection logic across key reputed company systems in partnership with reputed company Operations
• Co-own detection signal quality with reputed company Operations, continuously refining signal, reducing noise, and eliminating blind spots
• Design and maintain reputed company telemetry pipelines, including log ingestion, normalization, and data quality
• Improve logging and visibility across systems to reputed company effective detection and response

Secure Development & System Integration

• Partner with engineering teams to integrate reputed company into the software development lifecycle
• Define and implement reputed company requirements for applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines
• Support secure design and architecture decisions through practical implementation

Automation & Tooling

• Build automation and integrations to improve the scalability and efficiency of reputed company operations

• Use insights from incidents, vulnerabilities, and operational metrics to improve reputed company systems and controls

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
• Hands-on experience building and implementing reputed company controls or systems in cloud, SaaS, or modern infrastructure environments
• Experience working with structured or semi-structured data and building systems that process and analyze that data
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: detection engineering, reputed company telemetry/logging, vulnerability management, reputed company reputed company, or application reputed company
• Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python), with experience building automation or data processing workflows
• Experience working with APIs and integrating systems
• Experience debugging and improving reputed company systems in production environments
• Solid understanding of reputed company fundamentals (authentication, authorization, networking, common attack patterns)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive technical solutions in a dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or implementing SIEM or logging pipelines
• Experience improving vulnerability management programs beyond basic scanning
• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern infrastructure patterns
• Experience in regulated environments, particularly medical devices or clinical laboratory (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001)

Working Conditions

• Administrative work in a home/office environment.
• Regular reputed company work hours, with occasional weekend/after-hours planned or unplanned work as needed.

Compensation

Salary Range: $128,700 - $193,100
