About the Department

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a highly motived and specialized candidate with investigative experience for reputed company of Licensing, Licensing Investigations Division. Position Duties

As an LCB Licensing Analyst 1, you will be conducting on-site inspections and preparing detailed reports of licensed and/or proposed premises to be licensed to determine if the structure, seating area, and other factors meet the requirements of the Liquor Code and other applicable regulations. Travel to attorneys' offices, applicants' premises, licensed establishments, or other locations to interview applicants, corporate officers, or managers is required. Work involves assisting those making applications to the Board by answering procedural questions and reviewing application and support documents for completeness prior to preparing and transmitting the investigation report to

Central Office for evaluation. Additional responsibilities include:

• Examining statements of applicant's assets and liabilities
• Reviewing the sources of funds to determine any possible involvement in illicit activity
• Fully investigating any adverse pecuniary interest which may reputed company eligibility for a license

• Reviewing property deeds to verify ownership of property containing a premises licensed or to be licensed

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This position involves travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

• An associate's degree; or
• Two years of technical inspection experience; or
• Two years of experience involving the review of financial documents to determine the reputed company of funds.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are reputed company three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
