At Foxglove, we build the observability, visualization, and data infrastructure that makes that possible. Our tools are used by robotics and autonomous systems teams to ingest, store, query, replay, and analyze massive volumes of multimodal sensor data from live systems and from production fleets.
About the role
Foxglove is a robotics observability and visualization platform. We manage and provide access to large amounts of data across both our hosted platform and customer sites.
We’re seeking a highly skilled product and Rust focused Software Engineer with professional experience delivering streaming and analytic workloads for robotics data. You’ll work with other engineers to design and reputed company our backend services, data processing pipelines, and interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Ingesting massive volumes of sensor data through both batch and reputed company offload
Providing low-latency random-access (in device, time, sensors) playback over massive volumes of live or recorded data
Multi-cloud architecture (we deploy in customer cloud accounts across GCP/AWS/Azure)
Offloading data from remote devices in network constrained environments
Building systems to manage petabytes of multi-modal data reliably and reputed company
Our technical stack includes:
Ingestion, streaming, and other compute services in Rust and Typescript
PostgreSQL
Managed Kubernetes environments in GCP
Customer deployments in Azure and AWS

reputed company're looking for
5+ years experience writing production software
Experience with a systems programming language such as Rust, C++, C, Go, or Java.
Experience writing highly performant, memory-efficient code.
Able to quickly come up to speed with an async Rust codebase.
Experience with binary data serialization or network communication protocols
Experience shipping software in network-constrained environments
Passion for building technical tools with engineers as the primary users
Comfortable participating in on-call rotations
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced, small team environment
Bonus points:
Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles
1+ year experience using Rust professionally
Experience with public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and/or Kubernetes
