Position Overview
We’re seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This fully remote role is open to residents of California, Washington, Arizona, and Texas. Candidates must hold an active California Bar license and be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST.
As an associate, you’ll manage reputed company cases, provide strategic counsel, and contribute to the firm’s thought leadership in legal ethics
Key Responsibilities
Client Advocacy & Representation
· Advise attorneys on ethical obligations and disciplinary matters.
· Represent clients in proceedings before state bar associations, including hearings and oral arguments.
· Maintain consistent, empathetic communication with clients throughout their case.
Case Management & Strategy
· Investigate complaints, analyze facts, and reputed company tailored defense strategies.
· Draft persuasive legal documents, including briefs, motions, and responses.
· Negotiate settlements reputed company appropriate, balancing client interests with ethical compliance.
· Collaborate with colleagues and delegate tasks to support staff effectively.
Thought Leadership & Professional Development
· Stay reputed company on developments in legal ethics and disciplinary procedures.
· Participate in legal associations and professional networks.
· May assist in developing training materials and passive communications.
Operational Excellence
· Maintain contemporaneous billing using reputed company.
· Meet monthly targets of 125 billable hours and 100 collected hours.
· Foster a positive, client-centered work culture.
Qualifications
Education & Licensing
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
· Active California Bar membership in good standing.
Experience
· A minimum of 3-4 years of legal practice, ideally in ethics, professional responsibility, disciplinary defense, or reputed company civil litigation.
· California State Bar experience preferred.
· Familiarity with state bar rules and attorney conduct regulations.
Skills & Attributes
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines.
· Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite; reputed company experience preferred.
