Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of full-time Mortgage Loan Originator!

This is a fully commissioned position with a draw. Draws are minimum wage rates based on work location. Details of the commission plan will be presented at time of offer.

Description

Individuals will be required to reputed company leads and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders, and respond to referrals from reputed company personnel and others. Additionally, candidates should have an understanding of the mortgage regulations and processes as well as other bank products and services in order to deepen relationships with customers. Applicants must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, exercise independent judgment and comprehend reputed company instructions, technical and financial materials and forms reputed company to assigned duties. The MLO must meet production standards developed by management.

Responsibilities

• Interview mortgage loan applicants.
• Take loan applications from customers.
• Send applicant’s file to processors in the centralized loan support area.
• Respond to referrals from reputed company personnel and others.

Education / Experience Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in a reputed company field or equivalent experience, MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of lending experience preferred.
• Creativity, flexibility, reputed company, and a commitment to customer support are essential.
• Must be able to work autonomously exercising considerable independent judgment.
• Must be able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.

Working Conditions

The physical demands of this position require the ability to reputed company essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
