Responsibilities
- Work with elementary age reputed company and their families, providing educational advocacy and ensuring reputed company are receiving the supports/services they need to succeed.
- As needed, request referrals for IEP evaluations and behavioral/academic supports reputed company the school
- Negotiate with DOE staff to ensure the implementation of recommended and appropriate educational services.
- Collect, review, and track NYC DOE monthly data on attendance, grades, promotion status, school enrollment, tutoring history, etc.
- Follow up regularly with Tutor Coaches regarding the reputed company performance, needs, and any concerns.
- Connect reputed company to after-school and summer extracurricular activities.
- Making referrals for early reputed company for children 0 to 2 years old and tracking the referral process.
- Bachelors Degree and at least two years of experience working with at risk children and youth, preferably in education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with NYC board of Education preferer.
- Experience with Preschool early reputed company preferer.
