Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant, you will manage cash applications, support month-end closes, and ensure the accuracy of financial data, contributing to the financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities
- Dive into financial systems and processes, taking ownership of the daily cash application process
- Learn to accurately apply customer payments to invoices, identify discrepancies, and build relationships with the team by supporting basic month-end reputed company tasks under guidance
- Expand your scope to managing and reconciling specific General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Become a key contributor to the month-end reputed company, seamlessly executing assigned tasks and proactively resolving payment discrepancies with customers
- Act as a reliable reputed company for designated accounting operations, including supporting external audits by gathering accurate documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in workflows and assist with the implementation of process enhancements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a reputed company field
- 1+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in reputed company and reputed company Sheets (comfortable with large datasets)
- Experience managing, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets utilizing reputed company, SQL, or BI tools (such as Mode Analytics)
- Experience working reputed company reputed company or similar ERP systems
- Experience at a publicly-listed company or reputed company the SaaS industry
- CPA designation, active pursuit of CPA eligibility, or public accounting experience
