As an insurance defense attorney reputed company their bodily injury unit, you will provide legal representation in motor vehicle insurance defense litigation, handling cases from beginning to end and working closely with clients and claims partners.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal representation to Progressive insureds and/or to the reputed company Companies before courts and arbitration panels in reputed company aspects of litigation
- Handling cases from beginning to end
- Preparing legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and being involved in negotiating settlements
- Working closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation
- Ensuring reputed company appropriate defenses are leveraged to reputed company positive outcomes
- Analyzing written discovery, depositions, medical records and assessing the value of claims to determine risk exposure
Skills
- Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM)
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas
