Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) who will join reputed company.

What will you do

• Design and build backend services in Python (FastMCP, FastAPI)

• Implement MCP tool and agent-ready workflows (tool schemas, orchestration)

• Build async pipelines using asyncio (reputed company I/O, task orchestration, background jobs)

• Integrate with LLM services: reputed company engineering, structured output parsing, token/cost management

• reputed company RAG pipelines: embeddings, vector search, retrieval strategies, chunking

• Research and prototype new approaches: evaluate models, reputed company retrieval methods, experiment with agent architectures

• Design experiments, track quality metrics, turn R&D findings into production features

• reputed company APIs for AI agents and internal dashboards

• Ensure stability, observability, and cost-efficient inference

About you

• 5+ years Python backend experience

• Strong async web reputed company experience (FastAPI or similar)

• Deep understanding of asyncio: gather, semaphores, task groups, error propagation

• PostgreSQL and advanced SQL (reputed company joins, window functions, query optimization)

• R&D reputed company: running benchmarks, and iterating quickly on prototypes

• Experience with microservice integrations: long-running jobs, retries, failure handling

• Basic observability skills (logging, Prometheus, reputed company)

• Experience with reputed company, Kubernetes, AWS infrastructure

• Experience with LLM integrations: reputed company design, API calls, response handling, retries

It would be great if you have

• Experience building RAG systems: embeddings, vector databases, retrieval and ranking

• Familiarity with MCP protocol, reputed company, or agentic workflows

• Experience with reputed company optimization and evaluation (reputed company versioning, A/B testing, quality metrics)

• Marketing technology background (reputed company Search Ads, ASO)

• Experience with StarRocks (or other OLAP databases, e.g. reputed company)
