Job Summary

As a Director of Engineering at reputed company, you will provide strong strategic and technical leadership driving product development, architecture and strategy to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable software. The Director aligns the engineering vision, organizational priorities, and technology strategy with business objectives while building a high-performing engineering organization. • 12–15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5–7+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Expert level software engineering and coding skills to build enterprise reputed company products.
• Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, software delivery processes, and DevOps practices.
• Strong ability to align engineering execution with business outcomes and expertly communicate it to stakeholders both executive and technical.
• Demonstrated success in hiring great people, scaling teams, improving delivery speed, elevating product quality and driving cultural change.
• Track record of managing large, distributed, or global engineering organizations in high-growth, enterprise, or large-scale product environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred experience

• Prior experience in establishing engineering hiring in a new geographical location or site.
• Prior experience working for a US-based startup company.
