Sales Associate, CRE

Juniper Square is focused on unlocking the potential of private markets, particularly in commercial real estate. The Sales Associate role involves generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, engaging with prospective customers, and collaborating with Account Executives to drive pipeline growth.

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities
  • Maintain consistent activity levels: 300+ calls and 200+ emails per week - while focusing on quality conversations and qualified meetings
  • Identify and engage prospects within both assigned and unassigned territories, uncovering new opportunities across the private markets space
  • Partner with your assigned Account Executives to develop territory strategies, share insights, and align outreach efforts
  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, AI-driven prospecting platforms, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to build and manage a clean, organized pipeline
  • Monitor industry news, funding announcements, acquisitions, leadership changes, and other trigger events to identify timely outreach opportunities
  • Use news alerts, research tools, and social signals to personalize outreach and connect with prospects when interest is highest
  • Support and attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to identify prospects and build relationships
  • Manage pre- and post-event outreach — including invitations, follow-ups, and lead nurturing to convert interest into meetings
  • Develop a deep understanding of Juniper Square’s platform and the value it delivers to real estate private equity and other private market investors
  • Confidently articulate our value proposition to senior decision-makers and tailor messaging to their unique needs

Skills

  • Proven Cold Calling Experience
  • Demonstrated success in a prior sales or business development role that involved daily/weekly calling and emailing KPIs
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, etc
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly quotas
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree preferred (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
  • Experience within the CRE industry preferred
  • Experience attending industry events and driving interest
  • Experience with designing and executing outbound campaigns
  • Experience or strong interest in SaaS, real estate private equity, or financial services technology
