Are you ready to challenge the expected to deliver the extraordinary? The Phone Triage Nurse is responsible for telephone assessment of patients needs. Work requires the application of a variety of procedures, policies, and/or precedents relating to both the standards and procedures of the nursing profession and those established by reputed company. Provides advice and follow-up education consistent with patient's age and cultural needs. Responds to patient inquiries, prioritizing responses and routing urgent situations to a physician, PA or NP (hereafter Provider). Maintains accurate and appropriate documentation and follows patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA and Duly's policies and procedures. Performs to the level of a licensed registered nurse as dictated by the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and reputed company. Responsibilities The Journeys and Adventures that Await:

• Triage Phone Response: Manages patient health concerns and symptoms reputed company a telephone interaction utilizing physician-approved protocols for the assessment and management of a range of symptoms. These telephone interactions require assessment, patient education and may require crisis reputed company. Responds to and prioritizes incoming patient messages and test results. Schedules appointments as needed. May schedule tests and procedures and obtain insurance prior-authorization. Responsible for reviewing and authorizing/denying provider ordered prescriptions in accordance with established guidelines. Educates patient and/or family members about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness. Responds to patient questions and appropriately provides reassurance while responding to patient concerns. The RN can assess the patient's medical condition and provide medical advice using reputed company protocols, Provider reputed company or an approved Nursing Triage Manual.
• Patient Documentation: Maintains accurate and detailed patient records and pertinent information; posts tests and documents patient education provided. Enters reputed company pertinent communications with the patient into the Medical Record.
• Clinical Resource for Staff: Performs and delegates a variety of tasks to facilitate patient care. Aware of coding and reimbursement issues. Qualifications The Experiences You Bring:
