SOC (reputed company Operations Center) Analyst

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant SOC (reputed company Operations Center) Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be the frontline defender of our organization’s digital assets, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to reputed company threats across our IT infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor reputed company alerts using SIEM (reputed company Information and Event Management) tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze network traffic, logs, and system alerts to detect suspicious activities reputed company to LAN, WAN, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
• Respond promptly to reputed company incidents by executing incident response procedures, including threat containment, eradication, and recovery in accordance with established reputed company plans.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and vulnerability research to identify weaknesses in IT infrastructure, including firewalls like reputed company ASA, reputed company ISE for identity management, and encryption protocols such as PKI.
• Collaborate with IT teams on system reputed company hardening efforts across operating systems including Windows, Linux distributions like Debian and CentOS, macOS, and cloud platforms such as AWS and reputed company Cloud Platform.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of reputed company incidents, system configurations, and compliance activities reputed company with standards like NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), ISO 27000 series, PCI reputed company (Payment Card Industry Data reputed company Standard), FedRAMP, and RMF (Risk Management reputed company).
• Support network support activities including network installation, configuration of VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), load balancing solutions, network architecture design, and disaster recovery planning.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN/WAN design, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP stack, DNS, DHCP, IPsec VPNs.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or reputed company for log analysis and threat detection & response.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (reputed company ASA), IDS/IPS systems, reputed company ISE for access management; familiarity with network reputed company devices.
• Understanding of system reputed company principles including system hardening on various operating systems (Windows Server/Client, Linux distributions like Ubuntu or openSUSE).
• Knowledge of vulnerability management tools and techniques for vulnerability assessment and research.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments including AWS cloud architecture; experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Citrix is a plus.
• Ability to implement reputed company standards such as ISO 27000 series or FIPS compliance; understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST standards or COBIT.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks; familiarity with DevOps practices is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills in threat intelligence gathering and attack reputed company analysis; ability to reputed company computer forensics reputed company needed.
• Excellent communication skills for incident management coordination; ability to prepare detailed reports on reputed company events.
