We are presently seeking an reputed company civil litigation attorney to join our reputed company Automotive and Trucking Negligence department. This position is hybrid/remote. As one of the region’s most distinguished civil litigation firms, we are recognized for our effective representation of individuals and companies facing claims relating to automotive and trucking negligence, medical malpractice, toxic torts, work reputed company accidents, as well as various other forms of general liability. The firm also specializes in working with our clients in combating healthcare and insurance fraud throughout the region and have cemented ourselves as one of the region’s top firms in this reputed company.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have previously managed a full caseload of motor vehicle negligence claims and/or general liability claims. This candidate will also have managed junior attorneys and/or staff members in their case-reputed company responsibilities. Draft pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and other case reputed company documents Communicate with clients, insurance company contacts, and opposing counsel Identify, research, and analyze legal issues and conflicting legal opinions Take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and argue motions Attend in-person and virtual court appearances Record and disseminate reputed company information on behalf of the clients Analyze and summarize medical or other case reputed company records and reputed company important information Write reports to clients analyzing issues and communicating the status of the case Explain litigation to those unfamiliar with the process Take charge of cases to move them toward cost effective, efficient, and fair resolutions Juggle multiple assignments and/or deadlines Manage junior attorneys and staff Requirements 6+ years of experience in civil litigation with a specialization in either motor vehicle negligence and/or general liability Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other reputed company assignments Experience in handling a full caseload Experience in managing junior attorneys and/or staff Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with less reputed company attorneys, senior attorneys, partners, staff, clients, opposing counsel, and the court system.
