Legal Nurse Consultant

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Canada, California (USA), Delaware (USA), Louisiana (USA) Singleton Schreiber, LLP seeks a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) to support attorneys in Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Mass Tort, and Civil Rights cases. This role serves as a liaison between medical experts and attorneys, assisting with case selection, analyzing medical literature, and providing ongoing litigation support. The ideal candidate has a strong nursing and medical background with an understanding of catastrophic injuries and reputed company medical conditions. SALARY: $120,000-$140,000/annually Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. Job duties will include:

• Review and advise on initial cases in potential medical malpractice cases.

• Review, analyze, and explain the content of the medical records and medical literature to attorneys, paralegals, and other legal experts.

• Research the medical issues involved with potentially harmful products.
• Collaborate with reputed company attorney(s) on any issue(s) in any case involving medicine.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience with valid state registered nursing license
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing; master’s degree in nursing, public policy, or similar field preferred
• Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate (LNCC) preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization, preferably in healthcare management or legal, or other professional services industries.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and able to learn new computer software systems as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed leader with the ability to build relationships through high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, judgement, and discretion in line with the firm’s client service standards.
• Ability to build, drive, and maintain team morale.
