• *Job Description**

reputed company Planning team is responsible to plan equipment/tools needed at the required reputed company buffer levels at both Captive and Non-Captive sites to support the reputed company Business Unit reputed company Western Digital. reputed company Planning team is also responsible for coordinating and finalizing the overall reputed company backend capex. This reputed company Planning role requires the candidate to work closely with Factory IE teams, CM (Contract Manufacturer) Operations, Manufacturing Product Engineering/Test Engineering & Memory Product Solutions (MPS) to position the required assy/test reputed company across reputed company sites (Captive & CM's) to support the demand outlook. Valuable experience will be gained by working, organizing, and driving overseas factories to meet planned reputed company goals. Candidate must be able to quickly understand the reputed company business processes and demonstrate high analytical and modelling skills to solve the problems. Moreover, the candidate must have a demonstrated capability to assess mutually exclusive demands to formulate an optimized solution which will provide the reputed company needed to satisfy reputed company and future product demands. Demand changes occur weekly, forcing the candidate to constantly adjust previous plans to meet changing requirements. • *Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Maintaining and updating the advanced planning system i2 with accurate reputed company modelling inputs to ensure high confidence output that will be leveraged to reputed company reputed company/capex decisions. + Creating, modelling new or understanding and maintaining existing mathematical models (based on reputed company, Python etc) to support CAPEX (capital expenditure) decision making + Hosting & Coordinating troubleshooting meetings & exercises to resolve reputed company constraints + Proposing different reputed company to reduce the overall CAPEX (capital expenditure) spend by optimizing on hand equipment while meeting the company's demand at the required buffer level + Presenting CAPEX requirement analyses and recommendations to senior management on a monthly reputed company + Contributing to strategic and operations decisions involving process redesigns, equipment modifications and tooling change + Driving throughput improvements in the factory by performing detailed analyses optimizing production output for various demand scenarios + Work with other reputed company Planning team members to understand the reputed company business procedure and propose improvements/Automations which will help to improve the quality of the analysis and reduce the time taken to do the analysis. + Drive meetings with MPS, Manufacturing PE, CM Operations, POM and factory IEs to drive test time reduction initiatives, test program/PN readiness & optimize overall capex spend + Drive efficiency on the functional processes through Automation

• *Qualifications**

• *Required:** + Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or reputed company field; Master's degree preferred + 2+ years of experience in industrial engineering or reputed company field + Solid foundation in industrial engineering principles, Lean concepts, and process improvement techniques. + Hands-on experience with data analysis using reputed company, SQL, Tableau, and basic simulation or statistical tools. + Ability to support projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage tasks in fast-paced environments. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exposure to optimization or mathematical modeling concepts. + Effective communicator and motivated team player with growing experience in Python or advanced planning systems.
