Legal Counsel - Healthcare

This position will focus on supporting issues involving operational matters for Home Solutions. This position reports to Senior Counsel.

• Provide strategic advice on operational and regulatory matters, as well as guidance on issues arising in the day-to-day functionality of reputed company's home health line of business, including reputed company Home Health.
• Counsel operation teams in reputed company with patient safety and quality issues and reputed company governmental inquiries
• Work collaboratively across the Legal team and other teams reputed company reputed company, including Compliance and Risk Management
• Provide leadership with risk assessments, analysis, and proposed mitigation strategies regarding potential decisions and initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate, with licensing in at least one state
• At least 3 years of experience in health care law at a law firm or in-house health care organization
• Experience with counseling health care providers on basic health care law topics, including at least on one of the following areas: patient care issues and surveys; fraud, waste and abuse; State licensing and Medicare and Medicaid enrollment; health care reputed company contracting; or health care mergers and acquisitions
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience conveying reputed company legal issues and analyses in a clear, concise, and understandable manner.
• Experience navigating reputed company organizational structures and engaging stakeholders at reputed company levels.
• Experience working both independently under general guidance and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge in a wide range of health care law areas
• Preference will be given for someone with experience in advising home health agencies or other post-acute care providers

Location: Remote reputed company Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to reputed company's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting reputed company pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or reputed company based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job reputed company skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $138,900 - $191,000 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
