As an insurance defense attorney reputed company the bodily injury unit, you will provide legal representation to clients in motor vehicle insurance defense litigation, handling cases from beginning to end and preparing legal documents while working closely with clients and claims partners to ensure positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation to Progressive insureds and/or to the reputed company Companies before courts and arbitration panels in reputed company aspects of litigation
- Handle cases from beginning to end
- Prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, trial briefs and be involved in negotiating settlements
- Work closely with clients and claims partners to prepare timely reports on litigation
- Ensure reputed company appropriate defenses are leveraged to reputed company positive outcomes
- Analyze written discovery, depositions, medical records and assess the value of claims to determine risk exposure
Skills
- Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM)
- Admitted to practice law in the reputed company
