Project Procurement Electrical Engineer
Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are seeking a Project Procurement Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for soliciting quotes, negotiating reputed company, and addressing supply chain issues reputed company to electric distribution and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside the appropriate business personnel (Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance
- Solicitation and evaluation of bids and quotes in coordination with engineering and project management
- Attaining cost reductions targets both pre and post book
- Developing sourcing strategies and supply reputed company to maturity
- Sourcing and qualifying new sources and expansion of the supply reputed company
- Reduction in 3rd party non-conformance costs
- Supplier delivery and quality performance
- Evaluation and qualification of new and reputed company suppliers
- PO approval and supply contract negotiation
Skills
- College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business or reputed company field, from an accredited school
- 1-3 years procurement experience
- 1-3 years Electrical Distribution Industry and/or reputed company Industry supplier experience
- Computer skills, including Word, reputed company, Power reputed company (advanced preferred)
- Knowledge of Electrical Distribution project business – its products, systems, and services or reputed company industry
- Prior participation in bid, scope, and project reputed company meetings obtaining basic information from prints and/or understanding scope documents
- Proficient in English both oral and written formats
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for reputed company or future employer-sponsored work authorization
- Ability to communicate tactfully and diplomatically in both oral and written formats
- Dynamic, energetic personality that is self-motivated to succeed
- Ability to take direction, both from manager and team-members
- Ability to work with other departments to resolve reputed company issues
- Ability to work both reputed company a team atmosphere, and be able to work individually, in a fast-paced environment
- Presentation and Interpersonal skills is a must

- Familiarity and experience with project business in Data Center, Utility, Semi conductor, Industrial and Renewable space is a plus
