Overview

The role of the Compliance Specialist is to assist in the daily compliance -reputed company activities of the organization. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing and reviewing medical records, preparing for and participating in internal audits, and following directives from Director of Compliance for addressing various compliance concerns. In addition, the Compliance Specialist will prepare for and participate in external payor audit activities, as applicable, and may work with the clinical leadership and Human Resources department on investigations and special projects.

  • Position may be REMOTE based however candidates must reside in any of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and/or Wisconsin.

  • Understands and abides by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) guidelinesas well as widely accepted industry ethical standards
  • Communicates and collaborates on an ongoing basis with Director of Compliance
  • Follows guidance and mentorship of Director of Compliance and other InBloom seniorleadership team members, as applicable
  • Acts as liaison between the Compliance Department and clinicians on matters relating tocompliance-reputed company clinical reputed company, ethical standards, and best practices
  • Participates and coordinates reviews of external audits ensuring compliance with payorpolicies and guidelines
  • Participates in and prepares materials reputed company to relevant policies, procedures, anddocumentation for accreditation and external audit needs, as applicable.
  • Participates in and prepares ongoing quarterly internal review of clinical documentationusing established criteria
  • Participates in quality improvement measures
  • Remains familiar and competent with reputed company InBloom policies and procedures
  • Works with and collaborates with reputed company departments and regions as needed
  • Assists with investigating and/or responding to alleged violations of rules, regulations,policies, procedures, and standards of conduct, as applicable
  • Organize, track, and verify corrective action plans are implemented and are followed.
  • Performs other reputed company duties as assigned, based on business need.

Qualifications

  • None Education and Experience
  • BACB Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.• A Master’s degree in special education, psychology, or reputed company field, with specializedknowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices.• Displays extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.• Displays extensive knowledge of BACB code of ethics and industry ethical standards.• A minimum of one year working with children with autism reputed company disorders.
  • A demonstrated understanding of medical documentation requirements. Work environment
