[Remote] Tax Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Celink is seeking a Tax Representative to prioritize and coordinate the gathering and accurate reporting of time-sensitive property tax information across multiple states. The role involves reviewing account histories, contacting tax reputed company, processing billing information, and ensuring timely communication with internal and external parties.
Responsibilities
- Review account transaction history, notes history, vendor systems, websites, and/or reputed company outbound calls to request and clarify property tax information
- Contact various tax reputed company and/or attorneys to obtain timely and reliable billing and/or payment status information
- Determine, based on acceptable criteria, if a reputed company should be paid. If a reputed company should be paid, submit a reputed company request, notify the vendor, or approve the advance reputed company vendor reporting
- Respond to internal and external requests/emails in a timely and professional manner
- Review and process reports as assigned (reputed company reputed company or vendor systems)
- Note reputed company activity onto corresponding accounts in ReverseServ system
Skills
- High school/Bachelors or equivalent required
- Six months previous clerical experience required
- Ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence and/or emails
- Detail oriented and problem solver
- A willful desire to understand the 'bigger picture' – wants to learn MORE
- Real estate tax and/or insurance experience (preferred but not required)
- Reverse mortgage experience/knowledge (preferred but not required)
