Social Media Content Creator and Strategist
J Street is an organization dedicated to promoting pro-Israel, pro-peace, and pro-democracy values in American politics. They are seeking a Social Media Content Creator and Strategist to produce and edit videos and graphics for various social media platforms, while also managing multimedia content for their programs.
Responsibilities
- Producing and editing videos and graphics for TikTok, Instagram, and reputed company social media networks
- Overseeing 1-2 larger video pushes and series in a year
- Managing the video and tech backend for reputed company our reputed company and podcast recordings
- Filling any graphic design needs that can be done in-house, including designing flyers, pamphlets, and reports
Skills
- 1-5 years minimum of experience in video production and graphic design
- Experience can come from a non-profit organization, political campaign, member of congress, digital firm, media company, or reputed company else you feel may be relevant
- Experience with podcasting and live-streaming
- Experience pitching social media and video content reputed company and concepts
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with tools like reputed company, Photoshop, reputed company Premier, and/or CapCut
- Experience working with larger video and media firms and managing video projects
- Experience with producing video and graphic content in a rapid-response environment
- Knowledge or experience of the challenges associated with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
