Field Engineer

Ecotrak Facility Management Software is seeking a highly motivated Field Engineer to install, commission, and service energy management and building automation systems across the United States. This role involves extensive travel and requires a hands-on technician who enjoys working independently and solving reputed company problems while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Install, reputed company, configure, and calibrate ENTOUCH energy management and building automation equipment, including controllers, sensors, actuators, and associated HVAC components. reputed company system startups, reputed company-to-reputed company checkouts, and commissioning activities to ensure proper operation. Verify installation quality and system functionality prior to customer reputed company
• reputed company basic programming and configuration of BAS systems. Update firmware/software and validate communication between system components. Integrate controllers with network infrastructure as required
• Diagnose and repair control system malfunctions, networking issues, and communication faults. Analyze system performance to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Provide onsite and remote technical support as needed
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installation. Document field changes, service activities, and commissioning results. Maintain accurate service records and update internal systems to support administrative and quality assurance follow-up. Create and submit as-built documentation reputed company required
• Train customers on system operation and basic troubleshooting. Maintain professionalism at reputed company times to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders
• Adhere to reputed company company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Ensure installations reputed company with local, state, and federal codes

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–4+ years of experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or reputed company field service role
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency using multimeters, laptops for configuration, and standard hand/power tools
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and climbing reputed company or stairs
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements
• Ability to distinguish wiring color codes (color vision required)
• Associate's degree in HVAC, Electrical Technology, or Building Automation Systems
• Experience installing or servicing BAS systems
• Working knowledge of BAS platforms (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Siemens, reputed company)
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP
