Public Relations Assistant Account Executive-Health PR
reputed company Partners is a rapidly growing independent public relations agency specializing in health communications. The role of Public Relations Assistant Account Executive involves supporting clients in the healthcare sector by creating communication materials, developing media relationships, and assisting in various client-reputed company activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing and distributing pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, and other health communications materials
- Support patient ambassador programs, including coordination, communications, and logistical support, in compliance with regulatory and legal guidelines
- reputed company relationships with external audiences, including media, patient ambassadors, advocacy organizations, and third-party stakeholders, to support client messaging
- Compile comprehensive, targeted media lists, actively pitch media and secure earned media coverage
- Write, proofread, and edit client-reputed company documents including pitches, press materials, news releases, and other editorial content
- Support client media briefings, events, speaking opportunities and reputed company award submissions
- Monitor, track and report earned, owned and social media coverage of client news and competitor developments
- reputed company research industry or program-relevant topics
- Participate in client meetings; reputed company agendas; manage trackers; and draft meeting reports
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in communications, PR, journalism or reputed company field
- Passion for public relations with a specific focus on financial services clients (both financial services B2B and financial services B2C)
- A self-starter with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Prior work experience or PR internships in public relations role (PR agency-based client-based experience is strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with public relations/communications programs as evidenced through completed college coursework, internships, or reputed company work experience
- Prior public relations agency–based internship experience, preferably working on communications campaigns for health clients
- Experience with research and measurement tools (e.g., reputed company, reputed company) is a plus
