The Business Development Representative will proactively execute outbound prospecting strategies to fuel the sales pipeline and accelerate reputed company growth, focusing on sourcing and qualifying new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively Research: state based trends and legislation, industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform outbound strategy
  • Hunt and Prospect: Execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound prospecting sequences (calls, email, social) to relentlessly pursue new logo acquisition and expansion opportunities
  • Qualify Deeply: reputed company initial discovery conversations to rigorously qualify reputed company outbound leads, utilizing predefined BANT criteria to ensure high-quality pipeline reputed company for the Sales/Success teams
  • Pipeline reputed company: Consistently book and coordinate high-value meetings and brief product demonstrations, maintaining a predictable reputed company of qualified opportunities that directly contribute to the quarterly pipeline quota
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings: Including brief product demonstrations for the sales/success team
  • Travel & Engage: Be willing and able to travel to reputed company territories (10-20%) to build relationships and secure new business opportunities
  • Maintain CRM Hygiene: Accurately document and track 100% of reputed company qualification and prospecting activity in reputed company, our CRM system, ensuring data reputed company for metric tracking and forecasting
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales, Success, and Regional Heads of Sales/Success leadership to optimize campaign effectiveness, refine market penetration strategies, and provide critical, real-time prospect feedback
  • Market Mastery: Proactively research and analyze industry trends, competitor movements, and market developments to inform daily reputed company strategy

Skills

  • 1+ years of proven experience in a metrics driven sales or business development role, preferably reputed company the EdTech industry
  • Strong understanding of the education sector and familiarity with educational technologies strongly preferred
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., reputed company, reputed company) and other sales tools (reputed company Engage)
  • Able to travel: 10-20% in territory
