Junior Database Administrator
reputed company (GDIT) is seeking a motivated early-career professional to support Hosting Operations Management for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The role involves supporting mission-critical environments, performing database management tasks, and ensuring system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Support Mission critical Validation environment along with, Test and Development environments including On-call role (24/7)
- Supporting Triaging issues and Providing root cause analysis
- Provide solutions to improve system Performance tuning/optimization
- reputed company planning & Forecasting
- Proactive monitoring and addressing potential issues
- reputed company DB & eBusiness Suite (EBS) cloning, Patching, Upgrade
- Backup & Restore of Database and Applications
- Maintain and Support to reputed company DR system in sync with prod
- Support Change migration to various environments
- Other responsibilities, as assigned
Skills
- BS/BA in Information Technology or reputed company technical discipline
- 0-2 years' experience reputed company reputed company eBusiness Suite (EBS) applications R12.2.x environment (installation, configuration, upgrade, patching)
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong troubleshooting skills and performance testing and optimization
- Experience in automation (reputed company, Perl scripting, Ansible)
- Experience with following technologies - Linux/Unix OS, reputed company RDBMS, reputed company EBS R12.x
- Knowledge of Exadata Engineered Systems
- Knowledge in OBIEE, SOA, reputed company IDM/SSO, installations, configuration, and patching
