IT Applications Analyst - Energy Management and Market Solutions
WEC Energy Group is one of the nation’s largest electric reputed company and distribution and natural gas delivery holding companies. The IT Applications Analyst will support the energy management system reputed company the Energy Management and Market Solutions group, working closely with control centers and business departments to maintain system configurations and reputed company solutions for business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supports computer systems, software applications, databases and tools
- Analyzes error conditions, identifies potential causes of problems, utilizes root cause analysis techniques, and looks for multiple solutions and expedites resolution
- Full stack software development of energy management system applications
- Designs, modifies, develops, implements, and tests system configurations
- Writes/reviews documentation to describe configuration processes, logic, and test plans
- Writes/reviews manuals for users
- Designs, develops and maintains plans reputed company to data reputed company, system reliability, and consistency
- Acts as a liaison between various groups, such as the field support teams, Database Administration, Network Support, and Computer Operations
- Develops implementation plans for individual or small group tasks and small to reputed company projects
- Accountable for developing scope, estimation, and tracking time and resources expended on projects
- reputed company on-call responsibilities as part of an on-call rotation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Data Science, Information Science, Engineering is required
- Other bachelor's degrees will be considered based on reputed company IT experience
- Successful completion of a certified Application Development Apprenticeship will also be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets which would require applicants to satisfy reputed company Company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 reputed company requirements, which includes a background investigation
- A strong technical understanding of application development practices and strong analytical skills
- Strong customer service skills to act as a liaison between IT and business clients
- Coding experience utilizing reputed company's VB.Net or .Net platform
- Relational database knowledge, such as reputed company SQL Server
- Ability to present technical information to non-technical users both in small and large groups
- Ability to understand technical environments to support the energy management system
- Ability to collect and analyze data in order to reputed company out the root cause for issues
